He was a teen idol best known for his characters Chachi Arcola on Happy Days and Joanie Loves Chachi and Charles on the hit 1980s sitcom Charles in Charge. Scott Baio's good looks, charm and wit helped him maintain success "post-Chachi" as an actor, producer and director...but fame like that of "Chachi" is hard to come by twice. 1. His first starring role came in director Alan Parker's kiddie gangster musical "Bugsy Malone" (1976)
where he portrayed the title character opposite Jodie Foster as femme fatale Tallulah.

2. He was later reunited with Jodie Foster in the teen girl drama "Foxes" (1980) helmed by Adrian Lyne.
