"Malibu Country" Showrunner Exiting
by James Hibberd Apr 23 2013 Reba McEntire is losing her showrunner: Writer-producer Nastaran Dibai is departing ABC’s freshman comedy "Malibu Country". Dibai took over showrunning duties on the sitcom after series creator Kevin Abbott stepped down in October. "Malibu Country" isn’t renewed, yet it is considered likely to return. "Malibu" stars McEntire as a newly divorced country music singer who moves to the West Coast to restart her life.
