I recently sat down with "The Americans" star Keri Russell to talk about her new series on FX.

We also discussed "Felicity" and what that show means to her today.

I wanted to talk to you about "Felicity", how do you look back on that whole experience?

So fondly. Also, in a way angrily because that show spoiled me with being able to work with J.J. (Abrams) and Matt (Reeves). I really love them as people because they are so funny, and easy, and good, they were just so talented.

I worked on other projects and after looking at the script I'd go, "Why isn't it good?" I was talking to an older actress about this and she said, "Maybe because these people are new," and I said, "You either got it or you don't." At the time they were young and cool.

I talk to Scott Speedman all the time. I recently had an issue and I was like "I need an old friend," so I called up Scott and he called me right back asking, "What's up, dude?!"

Is it amazing to you that the haircut thing is still this amazing cautionary tale?

It's amazing.

My two cents, I don't think that had anything to do with the ratings going down.

I don't think so either, I mean time changed.

By the way, Season 2 was my favorite out of the 4. I loved the haircut thing.

It was so perfect and so true for the story. I thought it was so sweet and, to me, it didn't matter what it looked like. I thought it was so endearing, and so true and honest that this little girl with all this hair and the boy she was in love with broke up with her and she cuts it off.

We did it on the show and that's what's so amazing. People asked me, "You do it over the summer?" and I was like "No, we filmed it."
