Best Man Member Forum Regular Join Date: Dec 15, 2006 Location: El Paso, Texas Posts: 594	George Lucas got many Star Wars ideas from the kid show Far Out Space Nuts FOSN was a Kroft saturday morning TV show about two NASA workers who end up far out in space. One worker was played by Bob Denver the other was Chuck McCann. McCann later said in a book (Pufnstuf and other stuff) how Lucas used to visit the FOSN set. If you don't remember FOSN watch the Youtube entry (The Far Out Space Nuts opening theme /intro) and note the frosty Chewbacca and the dude with the light sabre (?) in the very last shot.
