Actually, the show was cancelled in August 2001. So it wouldn't have made a difference if 9/11 didn't happen.

I read someplace else that the show had actually ceased production in May 2001, so I guess it didn't get a formal cancellation until August. Interesting note: Timothy Bottoms did play GWB again, this time in a serious manner, in the 2003 TV movie DC 9/11: Time of Crisis.

damn that show was funnier than Southpark which is really hard to say but using those 8 episodes as a barometer and it was def. the funnest show Comedy Central had (besides the Man Show) |

I liked this show. It was so bizarre and hysterical that it really didn't matter whether you liked Bush or not (I didn't)because it was that good.

Well, the show is on DVD...and Parker/Stone provide commentary on about half the episodes, and they are joined by the cast on some of them: Timothy Bottoms, Carrie Dolan, Marcia Wallace, Kristin Miller, Kurt Fuller, and John D'Aquino. I've been a Timothy Bottoms fan ever since I saw him as the romantic hero in The Other Side of the Mountain Part 2 (1978), and here he proved he was quite adept at comedy!!

Ahhhh...I'd like to get the set out of the library so I can hear the commentaries.
