As the box art (below) says, the original crime scene investigator is back with Shout! Factory's planned DVD release of Quincy, M.E. - Season 4. Fans have been after Shout! to pick up the rights to this title for some time, and its finally happened: they are releasing the fourth season of the show (out of eight total) as a 6-disc set on December 18th. It's priced at $39.97 SRP, and includes guest appearances by Paul Carr, Alex Hyde-White, Simon Oakland, Tracey Gold, Pernell Roberts, Doris Singleton, Fred Ward, Priscilla Pointer, Ed Begley Jr., Greg Morris, Royal Dano, Jo Ann Pflug, James Keach, Kathryn Leigh Scott, A Martinez, William Daniels, June Lockhart, Anne Francis, Paul Sorensen, Don Stark, Robert Webber and Don Ameche.

Netflix streams the entire series. I love this show, it is like a non-stop series of cautionary tales and after-school specials! It's the preachy-ness of a Dick Wolf show combined with the over-acting and ham-handed directing of summer stock theatre! It is my guilty pleasure.
