Matt Long To Recur on "Private Practice"
Exclusive: "Jack & Bobby" Alum Matt Long Joins "Private Practice"
Sep 6, 2012 by Natalie Abrams Matt Long has joined the cast of "Private Practice" in a recurring role, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Long, well-known for playing one of the titular roles in "Jack & Bobby", will play a new doctor at St. Ambrose hospital. A hot new doc, huh? Could he be a love interest for one of the Seaside Wellness docs? Here's hoping! When "Private Practice" returns, two to three months have passed, meaning Addison (Kate Walsh) will have made a decision between Jake (Benjamin Bratt) and Sam (Taye Diggs). Also, as previously announced, Seaside Wellness will also say farewell to Pete, as Tim Daly will not be returning for Season 6, while Walsh plans to exit the Shonda Rhimes series after 13 episodes.
