If the box set came out as proposed, could anyone imagine how much it'd cost? It would probably be too expensive even for the most ardent fan.

And it's too much stuff to take in.

Like I said, we'll be lucky if we get any more episode only season box sets, especially considering the lawsuit currently going on.

My thoughts exactly. I wouldn't be surprised if CBS/Paramount decides not to release any more seasons due to the lawsuit.

They'd pretty much stopped releasing them prior to the lawsuit (low sales, perhaps?), so it wasn't looking promising anyway.

It's quite possible we may have seen the last of these box sets...ever.

I hope not, but it doesn't look good, especially where they've continued with HD offshoots Mork & Mindy & Laverne & Shirley.

It is still possible, because the lawsuit has been settled.
Also, related shows on DVD make it possible (Laverne and Shirley and Father Dowling Mysteries).

I can see them maybe releasing Manufacture-On-Demand DVR versions with NO artwork, but I wouldn't be too hopeful for much more than that, and even that won't be happening any time soon.

If they follow the release schedule they have in the past, Happy Days would be due out sometime around Christmas. This would make sense from a marketing perspective. LS came out in April, as it has in the past, so here's hoping!

Are seasons 1 of Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley uncut, with original music intact? I have yet to purchase either series because of edits.

Season 1 of Happy Days appears to be completely uncut, as are seasons 3 and 4. Stay away from Season 2, though. Almost all of the music has been replaced, and, as a result, parts of scenes are cut. Not sure about Laverne & Shirley, but I think, at least, Season 1 is uncut.
