Well, for those of you that care, I watched The O'Keefes this morning. The show has no studio audience much like Scrubs or Malcolm in the Middle.

It's about a guy(Judge Rheinhold)and his wife who home school their three children. All three kids are super intelligent, but lack street smarts because they never attended a regular school. It's sort of like The Brady Bunch movie because the entire family is oblivious to the outside world. They don't even watch TV.

In the pilot episode the two older kids want to attend high school to date and make friends, but the father is frightened because he used to be bullied as a teenager in school.

Eventually, the father caves in and lets his two oldest kids attend high school. They are both fish out of water and don't really know how to interact with kids their own age. That is basically the premise of the first show.

Overall, I think the show has some promise. It wasn't hysterical, but wasn't dull and boring either. If this show was on a major network like NBC, ABC or CBS I'd say its chances for survival would be a lot greater. However, the show will be on the WB so who knows.

Default Sounds good to me...

The premise sounds interesting Brian. It's got that Third Rock From The Sun feel to it.
My husband and I have a silly private joke with each other. For example, if we hear a siren outside, and my husband gets a puzzled look on his face, I'll say, "It's a siren Third Rock." Or if I don't get something on TV, he'll say, "Hellooo Third Rock, it means..."
If I talk to someone who just doesn't get it, I say to the hubby later, "So and so was third rocking like crazy."
I call our cat Third Rock often, like when his head swivels around like in The Excorcist when he hears the dishwasher or something he's heard a million times.
It's a goofy reference as in, Are you from this planet?
Man, I just detoured down Off Topic Lane, lol.
I'd give The O'Keefes a whirl. Who plays the wife...anyone famous?

I think her name is Kirsten Nelson. I've never seen her before in anything else.
