Body of Proof, Scandal, Private Practice, GCB, Missing - there's not room for all of them. I would have said Missing and Body of Proof would be the ones to go but Proof made it interesting towards the end. ABC shouldn't be afraid to cancel Private Practice. It has the least upside of any of these shows and if its first Tuesday is any indication, it's not going to do well without its comfy lead-in.

I don't think ABC should move Revenge. The Weds 10pm slot has been horrible to them for years and they finally have a show working there. Don't mess with a good thing. I would be shocked if Happy Endings/Apt 23 got a 2.7/2.4 there. They can barely get that in recent weeks with a 4+ demo lead-in at a better timeslot. I know it's spring but still. No comedy would get a 2.4 demo at 10:30pm.

I would be interested in seeing how Castle would do at 8pm Thursday. Now that they have shored up Weds 10pm, that is the next trouble slot for ABC to work with
I agree 100%.

There is no way ABC renews all of their bubble drama's. I see Scandal and GCB as the most likely to get renewed.

Private Practice and Missing are least likely to be renewed, imho. Body of Proof could go either way, and it really will all depend on how ABC's development goes.

I don't think moving Revenge is a good idea just yet... Maybe in season 3, but not in season 2. Let it develop its audience a bit more.

I think Missing is good as gone. I don't think Body of Proof is salvaged either, it's done okay the past few weeks but I don't think it's really done well enough to warrant a renewal. Private Practice, GCB and Scandal I could see going either way.

I think ABC should wait to see how Revenge does next season and then make a decision on moving it. They waited two years before moving Grey's Anatomy, so I would try the same exact thing with Revenge. ABC has left some shows in timeslots for way too long (Private Practice, Castle, Brothers & Sisters - I'm talking to you) but this is one show that has to stay for at least one more season.

As for the bubble shows, I see ABC cancelling GCB and Missing. If Private Practice drops this week, it's gone, but if it's able to build, it has a chance of coming back. The only time Scandal has faced any sort of competition was for its premiere, and premiere week always does the best. I'd like to see how Scandal does against The Mentalist this week before making any decision on it. If Scandal can hold, it'll come back. At best, only two of the five (Body of Proof is the fifth) will return.

Baby Daddy is another new show coming to ABC Family.

A New ABC Family Original Comedy
Baby Daddy, is a half-hour series about Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Kyle XY) who, in his 20s, becomes a surprise dad to a baby girl when she's left on his doorstep by an ex-girlfriend. Ben decides to raise the baby with the help of his mother Bonnie (Melissa Peterman), his brother Danny (Derek Theler), his best buddy Tucker (Tahj Mowry) and his close female friend, Riley (Chelsea Kane), who is harboring a secret crush on him.

The series will be executive produced by Dan Berendsen (The Nine Lives of Chloe King, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Hannah Montana: The Movie).

Baby Daddy premieres June 20, Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30c!

Of course it does. Happy Endings has a huge Modern Family lead-in while Last Man Standing is on its own.

catsrule, that is way too many changes for next season. If Beauty and the Beast does go forward, put in on Sundays at 9pm, after Once Upon a Time. No way ABC should move Once Upon a Time when its easily doing well on Sundays. Plus there is no reason to believe ABC will be moving Grey's Anatomy to 10pm.

I would love to see the cast photos of all shows that never make it pass the pilot stage. I'll continue to keep trying.

What have I defended on ABC that made you so angry (or wonder all these "years")? I am passionate about the shows I love, and that does include non-ABC shows (Breaking In, Big Bang, etc).
I apologize, too, Pavan, if you weren't trying to be nasty. Sometimes I have thin skin and take things too personally. Sorry.

Just so you know, I'm not, nor have I ever been angry with you. While I've never posted about it, my curiosity about you and ABC goes back years. I've even wondered if you were an ABC employee in the past. And that wasn't meant to be offensive in any way; it just seemed that you had a preference for the network. Now I know it's because they're the only one from whom you can get detailed information. I was wrong to make assumptions, and for that I apologize.

Looks like Counter Culture isn't going forward according to Deadline.com's facebook feed due to Delta Burke suffering a fall from a few days ago.

Sounded like a decent concept, too.

To be fair, it got ratings on par (even better some weeks) with Last Man Standing's recent ratings when it was airing after Modern Family repeats.

Given that fact, as well as the annual ABC pilot threads, it's not unreasonable for one to deduce that, for one reason or another, ABC gets preferential treatment on this board and on the blog.

Of course not. I don't have any opinions on the pilots, since I haven't seen any of them.
I'll be rooting and want to see Counter Culture and the other multi camera comedy.

Any pilot for a new series on a major broadcast television network is always a recipe for disaster and failure. It if gets picked up, it'll be a candidate for cancellation after one season.
