Rosie O'Donnell, Dan Aykroyd to Appear on "Happily Divorced"

Rosie O'Donnell's got a new TV gig. The comedian, along with Dan Aykroyd, will guest-star on "Happily Divorced", Entertainment Weekly reports.

The pair will appear in different episodes that are slated for the end of May.

O'Donnell, whose OWN talk show was canceled last month after five months on the air, will play Katie O'Grady, a high school friend of Fran (Fran Drescher) and Judi (Tichina Arnold) who helps Fran learn a lesson about her relationship with her overbearing mother Dori (Rita Moreno).

Aykroyd will play a potential new love interest for Fran with whom her ex Peter (John Michael Higgins) sets her up. This will be the "SNL" alum's first TV role since guest-starring on "The Defenders" a year ago.

Rosie O'Donnell is stopping by "Happily Divorced" to provide comic relief and some awkward tension between Fran (Fran Drescher) and her mother Dori (Rita Moreno).

In 'Mother's Day', Fran forgets to make a brunch reservation for her and her mother and feels guilty for being a bad daughter. So her old pal Katie (O'Donnell) -- who's now a pet psychic, and as we learn in our exclusive sneak peek, also working at a department store -- suggests Fran make it up to dear old mom with a day of fun.

But "fun" for Fran's mom means wedding dress shopping with her eternally single divorcee daughter ... and Katie's not helping.
