I don't know why he would even mention the kid, he probably forgot all about him.

It's not like he was working with a young Ron Howard or Gary Coleman. I don't recall too many scenes with Jeffrey and Evan. In fact, I think Norman Fell had more scenes with the kid than anyone else did.
