NBC has had some low-rated series premieres in its day -- last year’s short-lived “Paul Reiser Show” comes to mind. But TVbytheNumbers.com reports that last night’s series premiere of the comedy “Bent” set a new low mark for the network, pulling a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 -- the worst-ever in-season debut for a new comedy series on NBC.

The 9 p.m. premiere of the Amanda Peet sitcom was followed by a 9:30 p.m. installment of “Bent” that fell even further, hitting a 0.9 average rating.

i had no interest in watching - I can't stand that tall guy whatever his name is, and I don't think the promos with the joke about harming cats was funny at ALL

I watched the show online and liked it. It is a quirky show and the story and the characters to me are fun and interesting. I watched the pilot and will watch the next episode. I like the Gamblers Anonymous part.

It also stars JEFFERY TAMBOR. Jeffrey Tambor is good in anything. If anything, if this show survives from the dead, give Tambor a bigger part. He rules.

It is not a bad show. Try it.
