i ask thiws to you guys because i heard that "Squares" had pre-written jokes for the celebrities to use for particular questions that were asked by the host

im pretty sure that match game was more improvised than hollywood squares in fact gene rayburn had several run ins wiith producer mark goodson because of rayburns improvised bits ie rolling on the floor /sing alongs in the middle of the game in short all the things that made the show a huge hit but after the ratings came in goodson pretty much left rayburn alone
