Mar 1, 2012 by Natalie Abrams "Star Trek" will meet "The Secret Circle" in an upcoming episode. John de Lancie, well known for playing Q in the "Star Trek" franchise, has been cast as one of the elders, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. The 63-year-old actor will play Royce Armstrong, the powerful, yet recluse grandfather of Jake (Chris Zylka). Royce comes out of hiding to reveal disturbing conspiracy theories about the events of 16 years ago and how the present-day circle is involved.
