Default Lori Beth

I've noticed a few people don't like Lori Beth.

Why?

I liked her. I wish they had let the character develop a little more, and I really didn't see the point of keeping the actress on after Ron Howard left the show, but she had potential.

She was pretty average/boring to me. I haven't seen Happy Days in a while though so maybe I would like her more now.

She was Richie's girlfriend and later his wife. I always kind of liked her.

i thought she was a good, if not fully fleshed-out character; I just didn't like her sometimes whiney/nasally voice and the way that she somehow let Richie continually get away with seeing other girls on the side.

I think there are different reasons. Some people might be jealous of her. Others might not think she was a good match for Richie. Others may not care for the actress herself.

I personally stopped liking most of the characters after doing a run through of the whole series recently. I use to watch this show when it first aired and I loved the characters back then.

The only characters I still like are Ralph Malph, Postie Webber, Al and Alfred.

The dad was pretty much given a bad wrap in the show throughout, with the "fonz" saving the day and the C family siding with the "fonz" over their own dad.

Richie and Chachi are not very likeable in some episodes. Cheating is not a laughing matter. I'd have respected the girls more if they had dumped the guys and washed their hands of them.

I just can't stand the "fonz" any more. I especially get tired of the women-in-heat in the audience that go nutz over the "fonz" and chachi just because they walk into the set.

Take it for what it's worth. This might give you an idea why some people don't like certain characters.

Bam! That is the problem I had. What was the deal with the other girls when he was supposed to be with her?

I liked her though. They did not develop her. She did get upgraded to regular cast member. The only two SL's she had were the wedding and the birth of the baby. I liked her and wish she had more to do.

I have to agree, after Richie left the show there wasn't much for her to do but hang and bum around. She seemed lost and like a loser with out him.

Default lori beth kept the richie character around

ron howard was gone richie was gone but keeping her on the show kept the interest in the richie character,i liked her, she became more shallow in the later episodes once she was pregnant and didnt have many storylines around her but it also helped explain to the once in awhile viewers what happened to richie to some degree anyway.there were many other characters that were much more hate able than lori beth, like KC.or FLIP.
