I have often wondered why she never called her husband Roger by his first name? She always just calls him "Addison" or "doll." Anyone know why?

I dont really know, maybe the writers thought it would be cuter that way I guess.

I had forgotten that she called Roger "doll"

The same reason Peg called Chester A. Riley "Riley" and Bernice called Phil
Fish "Fish." For that matter, why does Bart Simpson call Homer "Homer"
instead of Dad?
