In August of 2002, TV land celebrated Norman's Lear 80th Birthday and air all of his RARE sitcoms.
Now that he will be 90 in August, do you think TV land will do the same thing in August or since staff has probably changed a lot in the past 10 years in the tv land programming department that we probably wont? |

It would be nice if they aired some rare sitcoms. TV Land used to be really good. I remember when they played Rhoda and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Now all you get is 90's TV, Roseanne, The Nanny, Everybody Loves Raymond, The King Of Queens. I'm glad that I've got TV dvd's to watch! I wish I had a channel that caters to classic TV. Norman Lear had a lot of great old shows. But I doubt we'll ever see them again on TV Land.

It would be cool if they did do a Norman Lear Marathon again! But I have all the Norman Lear Shows on DVD and Maude is on YouTube so I can have My Own Norman Lear Marathon.

I would love to see a marathon of Grady. I know a lot of people didn't like him on Sanford and Son, but I loved his character. I'd also like to see Gloria. I've never seen either show, but I bet they were good. A lot better than what we get now on TV!

I have not seen Grady yet. I've seem the others. With it being 2012 now, I don't TV LAND is going to do that authentic broadcast anymore. Hopefully, I'll be wrong.

I know. I know. Rub it in, why don't you? LOL. We'll do another trade so I can get it along with Sanford Arms and Happy Days. |
