When Lisa finds out what Rebecca did, she finds a way to get back at her. But Perry knows the real reason why she was stood up and tells a preposterous lie to keep Rebecca from discovering the truth. Meanwhile, avid hockey fan Shawn is devastated when he finds out that the local cable company won't be carrying the championship games. When he learns further that Lisa's friend, Vanessa, has the games on her cable station, he has to hide his real motive for romancing Vanessa from both women, on "Romantically Challenged," on MONDAY, MAY 3 (9:32-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

But the always polite Rebecca violates Lisa's number-one rule by calling her date, Leo, the morning after. Now Leo is into Rebecca, so Lisa gives her sister her own unusual brand of dating advice so Rebecca can break up with him. Meanwhile, an overworked Perry decides to take a stay-cation. But doing so gets on the nerves of his unemployed roommate, Shawn, to the point that Shawn decides to get a job - any job.

Guest starring are Israel Broussard as Justin, Paul Greene as Leo, Edward Flores as Bob, Emayatzy Corinealdi as Tiffany, Elaine Loh as waitress, Brian Michael Jones as restaurant patron and Donald Li as owner.

Great news about a 4th episode getting an air date. I'm now a bit more optimistic about it's future. I was sure ABC was sending the other 3 episodes to their graves, since I haven't seen 1 promo on ABC for tomorrow's episode.

They'll be a few promos during DWTS tomorrow. If it was only one, then I would be concerned.

Default Pavan My Concern About 5/17 Episode

While I am excited that ABC is airing a 4th episode, I am concerned about the episode chosen. This is the same episode that at one point was going to be used as the show's pilot episode, but got horrible reviews and was replaced. I know that the show's fate will most likely have been decided before the episode airs, since the following day is ABC's Upfront Press Conference, but why would ABC choose this episode to air, if they already know it was not well received? Why not air one of the other episodes they have, that doesn't already have a negative scent to it?

Were the reviews negative because it just wasn't a good 'pilot' episode, or is it just not a very good episode, and the reviews were accurate in their criticism? I just hope that the characters and premise have been exposed enough to the audience that any qualms that people had with it a month ago are no longer relevant.

The episode isn't "bad" it is just weird that they wanted to start with that episode. I think people will like it. Critics don't matter now.

Maybe the final 2 episodes of the season will be used if there is a next season. They are probably more stronger episodes, hence they are saved. There is still a chance these last 2 could air this season (Wed at 10 maybe).

Is there concern for the fourth episode because of the subject matter....i.e..a one night stand? Did the critics have an issue with that or was it something else? Anyway, I look forward to the episode.

Does anyone know what the sixth episode of Romantically Challeneged was about other than the return of Perry's girlfriend?
Also, does anyone know anything about an episode titled "Rebecca's Spunky Little Sister?" Was it ever produced or is it an alternate title for an episode that was produced?
