Facebook Game for "CSI: Miami" Being Developed By Ubisoft
10/29/2011 by John Gaudiosi Ubisoft has had success over the years bringing hit TV shows like "CSI", "CSI: Miami" and "CSI: New York" to PC and console gamers worldwide. Now the company is adding to the gameplay experience with new Facebook games based on those hit television properties and more. Ubisoft is developing a full suite of social online games based on "NCIS", "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "House, M.D." for the growing number Facebook consumers. Developed by Ubisoft Shanghai, Method and Ubisoft San Francisco, "CSI: Miami", "House, M.D.: Critical Cases" and "NCIS: Major Crimes" will be the first Facebook games released. Facebook games based on "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "CSI: New York" will follow later in 2012. "Our license-based Facebook titles have performed well this year, including The Smurfs & Co. and CSI: Crime City," said Chris Early, vice president of digital publishing at Ubisoft. "With CSI: Miami, House, M.D.: Critical Cases and NCIS: Major Crimes, we’re giving more fans new ways of being a part of and sharing in their favorite fictional worlds." CSI: Miami will be available in early 2012 and it will let players work with a virtual David Caruso as they solve cases set in Miami. Players will be able to team up and use the latest lab technology to find the culprits. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...use-csi-254291 |
