It's just a shame that a unique, fun show like Take The Money is up against two reality powerhouses and Sundays when there is no real reality competition from 9-11p they are scheduling 20/20 reruns. Oh well, maybe next week when FOX is in reruns it can perk up. I just feel like it might be too late.

Special Edition of “20/20” Premieres Sunday, August 21 on ABC

When nothing adds up and a gut feeling’s all you have, forget about your five senses... what you really need is the sixth sense. “20/20: The Sixth Sense,” which features stories of extraordinary instinct that uncovers the truth, premieres SUNDAY, AUGUST 21 (9:00-11:00 pm ET) on the ABC Television Network. The special edition of “20/20” is scheduled to air the following Sundays from 9:00 – 11:00 pm ET:

Sunday, August 21

“Letters From the Grave” -- Two young mothers – one in Arizona and one in Wisconsin – both found dead under mysterious circumstances. But the clues to solving these cases are found in the stunning letters written by the women themselves just days before their deaths. Did they sense their time on earth was coming to an end? Jay Schadler reports. (OAD: 2/29/08 and 4/3/09)

Sunday, August 28

Where else but on the internet can you fall in love with a complete stranger who has lied about their real identity? “20/20: The Sixth Sense” reports on two romances based on lies, both with explosive endings.

“20/20” reveals the inside story of the controversial movie “Catfish.” Jay Schadler follows the story of Nev Schulman, a 24 year old NYC photographer who becomes entangled in an intriguing internet relationship with a Michigan family. On Facebook, Nev befriends an eight-year-old art prodigy, her mother, and her beautiful older sister Megan. Nev’s filmmaker brother Ariel and friend Henry Joost document the budding love affair between Nev and Megan, and soon embark on a road trip to discover the shocking truth about the family. “20/20” examines the unraveling of a romance and the mysterious source of the online deception. Jay Schadler reports. (OAD: 10/8/10)

Plus: “20/20” reports on a real-life online murder mystery. A chance encounter in an online chat room leads to romance between a beautiful 18-year-old girl and a handsome young marine. But what she doesn’t know is that her “sweet sexy marine” is actually a 46-year-old married man. And before it’s over, passion will turn to jealousy, a love triangle… and murder.‪‪ “20/20” investigates a real-life online murder mystery where nothing is what it seems. Jim Avila reports.‪ (OAD: 3/19/10)

Sunday, September 4

A young, blond woman is discovered on the side of the road, beaten, naked, and left for dead. When she regains consciousness, her statements to police are contradictory, confusing, even suspicious. Surveillance cameras capture her entering the elevator at the Miami hotel where she’d been staying, but she’s never seen leaving again. There’s no shortage of suspects – an older man who calls himself a “friend” of the victim but who’d been arrested for an act of domestic violence against her; a hotel manager whose interests in the victim were less than professional; but soon all the leads run cold. As the cops run out of theories, they agree to let a colorful private investigator named Ken Brennan run with the case. The mystery becomes an obsession for Brennan, but eventually he comes up with a theory so outlandish it sounds like a joke – until DNA proves him right. Chris Cuomo reports. (OAD: 4/1/11)

September 18

The Wrong Turn: The Kati Kim Story: Like a scene from a chilling horror movie, a young family is trapped in a snowstorm in isolated woods miles away from any help and surrounded by grizzly bears. Snowed in and unable to move their vehicle, the Kims spend nine long days stranded in south-western Oregon’s remote bear infested wilderness, some 33 miles from the nearest town. Rationing their meagre food supplies, surviving off local berries and spending their nights in sub-zero temperatures, the frightened family resort to burning their possessions in an attempt to signal help – and stay alive. Reported missing by friends and family, the Kims strange disappearance makes national news.

How did the Kims survive such an extreme environment? What clues did the family leave the heroic search teams? And what happened when dad, James Kim, decided to leave the car and looks for help? After years of silence and with an exclusive, never before seen interview, mom and survivor, Kati Kim, tells her story and gives us a heartfelt insight into how a family Christmas vacation ended in a struggle for survival, an intensive search and rescue effort – and a family tragedy. Jay Schadler reports. (OAD: 2/11/11)

“20/20” is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and Chris Cuomo. David Sloan is executive producer.

The Kati Kim Story is riveting television. I don't think new programming works on Sundays in the summer anyway. Only Big Brother works and that is because it is on two other nights of the week.

Scheduling updates:

Thursday, September 8, 2011
9:00pm Grey's Anatomy (season seven finale encore)

Sunday, September 11, 2011
9:00pm Sunday 20/20: The Sixth Sense (one-hour)
10:00pm A Special Edition of Primetime - Remembrance and Renewal: 10 Years After the 9/11 Attacks (all-new)

Sunday, September 25, 2011
4:00pm ET/2:00pm PT Dancing With the Stars: Meet the Cast (R, 9/20)
5:00pm ET/3:00pm PT Dancing With the Stars: The Results Show (R, 9/20)
[Dancing with the Stars 9/19 encore is no longer scheduled.]

I completely disagree. Why would the most viewed night of TV not be able to sustain new programming in the Summer any more than Mon or Thu? CBS just happens to be the only network doing it. Before you cite other nets: Marriage Ref was a burn off. Affion Crockett wasn't even promoted.
Either way CBS or NBC isnt handing over two hours on the most viewed night of the week to reruns of a newsmagazine that doesn't get above a 1.5 normally. If you're gonna run reruns, at least make it your scripted that a) you make money off each airing and b) means more to your bottom line. Feels like they lost a bet with the news division cause I can't think of a reason this makes sense. Especially with NBC airing Football why not expose your scripted shows here. The Non sports viewers that normally watch AGT reruns and The Marriage Ref have to go somewhere.

I don't think that's what he meant. I understand why Pavan said that and the truth is no one has tried new stuff with anything monumental this summer. Well CBS tried Same Name but obviously that would have flopped anywhere. There is a hole for a good performance show on Sunday. Speaking of Same Name, CBS just pulled the show in favor of Good Wife reruns. I kind of wish ABC aired one of their procedurals here (or Combat like I previously suggested) or even tried Take The Money here now that there is no reality show. Some of the Big Brother people might move over at 9p. CBS is now doing with The Good Wife what I wish ABC was doing with Body of Proof on Tuesdays. Getting people accustomed to it, in the fall time slot while there is minimal or no other drama competition. Also BOP is ABCs best drama repeater, even better than Castle. It always built on 9p all Summer. Oh well, maybe I'm wrong and 20/20 will do well. It's certainly possible. I am wrong many times and I assume ABC has a specific reason for scheduling this.

Like I said name one show besides Big Brother that has worked on a Sunday in the summer? Same Name and Marriage Ref are really pulling in the numbers right? Sundays is different in the summer. It feels different when in the regular season people are usually home during the day (watching NFL), so more people watch TV in the fall/winter on this night. I know I haven't watched anything on a Sunday in the summer this season besides the two-hour 20/20 special (and that was promoted everywhere in the media, not just on ABC).

"The Marriage Ref" is a burnoff, one that was supposed to air in March and benched to summer with little promotion.

"Same Name" was a flop and I highly doubt it would have done any better on another night of the week.

The networks haven't really been trying on Sunday night but "Big Brother" of course is solid. If something like "America's Got Talent" was put on the night, I bet it would have done just as well as it does on Tues/Weds. There's only a handful of successful summer shows on all the networks and none of them happened to be scheduled on Sundays. It's not because Sundays wouldn't work if they had the right shows.

Clearly there's an audience out there on Sunday night, it's one of the strongest on cable in the summer.

Probably the reason you haven't watched anything on Sunday in the summer besides 20/20 is because ABC hasn't aired any new programming on Sundays in the summer besides 20/20.

There's a reason why Sundays isn't programmed with originals in summer. I have only watched one network show in the summer ever. And even that show I didn't watch on the same night like I do with all of the other shows I watch. It's hard to watch TV in the summer on Sunday nights.

Tell me they are not going to skip the season finale completely?

I originally thought they were gonna air Combat 9/1 at 10p after new RB at 9 and then finale would be 9/6. Maybe Wed? Makes no sense to air 12 and not 13. Wed 9/14 there is ABC NEWS SPECIAL penciled in now. I thought it might be the Jackie O special but now that's Tue. Could it be that one 20/20 that never was rescheduled from earlier this summer? Or is that where they will air combat now that Nightline isnt scheduled?

There was one big plus the way they originally had the 2 hour Wipeout. No Big Brother and NBC is rerunnning those new comedies that night. Now with just GREYS encores there, they are letting CBS/NBC get some traction. Also they would get some more viewers a few nights before season starts to promote if the 2 hour Wipeout was on Thursday with zero new competition. Now it goes against the AGT finale. The earlier way it was scheduled was better. Jackie O could have aired Wed.

Now it seems episode 11 is not being shown...I hope Global will show it here. Most likely they will and they hopefully will renew it even if ABC doesn't. I actually found it better than Rookie Blue this year. I think it would have doe better if they had Rookie Blue Thursday at 9pm and Combat at 10pm. That how it was originally planned according to early summer schedule released by Global this spring.

Here in Canada it has been the #1 scripted show this summer, all networks and cable net included. So I have hope it comes back. Maybe it could work on Lifetime.
