Toody is so frightened when a Gypsy puts a curse on him that he causes the curse to come true.

I realized that Muldoon is not really that stupid. He's a good friend with a lot of sense. Much of his stupidity comes from the company he keeps.

I realized something that I hadn't caught when I watched this show fifty years ago. One of the great themes of the series is friendship. People really wish they had a friend like Muldoon.
