"Eureka" Geniusly Casts Stan Lee, Felicia Day & Wil Wheaton

In a press release today, Syfy gives us our first taste of Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee cameoing in an upcoming episode of "Eureka", as well as nerd hottie Felicia Day and the returning "Star Trek: The Next Generation" alum Wil Wheaton!




Stan Lee will only appear in the July 25th episode, while Day begins her seven-episode arc on July 18th, and Wheaton reprises his role as Dr. Isaac Parrish for seven episodes during the second half of season four.

According to the report, Day plays "Dr. Holly Marten, a quirky Department of Defense visitor to Eureka tasked with evaluating eager candidates for a special mission that has been given to Global Dynamics and will pit the town’s scientists against one another."




Wheaton, reprising the role created previously, will compete with Douglas Fargo (Neil Grayston) to be selected to said mission. The two also reportedly vie for the affections of Dr. Marten, who "unwittingly finds herself at the center of a love triangle."

Coincidentally, Wheaton and Day also played love interests (and rivals) in Day's web series 'The Guild'!




But what of dear Stan Lee, and his latest cameo?

The prolific comic mogul will play Dr. Lee, an expert on the effects of gamma radiation. So basically, the real-life Stan Lee.





"Eureka" returns with all new episodes Monday, July 11th at 8pm ET/PT on Syfy.
