Jun 10, 2011 by William Keck Forgive that headline, because Julie Benz is actually one of the sweetest actresses I've ever met. And I'm thrilled she's just landed a fun role on USA's "Royal Pains". Julie, best known for her roles on "Dexter" and "No Ordinary Family", will play a young mother named Elyse. After an accident on the family farm leaves her with a nasty wound that won't heal, Dr. Hank (Mark Feuerstein) is called into action by her daughter Libby (Meredith Hagner). Julie's experience as a lesbian stripper on "Desperate Housewives" should come in handy, as Elyse just so happens to be a lesbian farmer with a wife named Anna.
