Pawn Stars
I love this show and it is amazing what people try to sell and how much knowledge Rick has and he seems like a great guy but his dad looks like a pit boss or a gangster.

We love this show around here, too--especially when someone who thinks they have a million-dollar item gets cut down to a few hundred LOL! Like the Pete Rose baseball cards (we live in OH).

This show is great. I like them all, but Chumlee is, by far, the most entertaining.

It is amazing what people try to pawn/sell like airplanes. and a Robosauras that rips cars in half and breaths fire.

Pawn Stars is a good show. I am amazed at how much Rick and the old man know about stuff. Very entertaining as well as educational.

Watching this show had made me see that it is better to auction something valuable off and take the 30% charge from the auction house than to sell it to Rick for less than half its value. I think its usually people who need some money right away that go to a pawnshop.
Otherwise the show is entertaining and sometimes educational! |

I love Pawn Stars. Chumlee is awesome and the old man is funny when he gets exasperated. Although I think it's crazy the things that some people sell. Like the guy who sold a silver spoon made by Paul Revere, to help pay for his daughter's wedding.
No one should sell their family heirlooms for a wedding, and if I was the daughter I wouldn't want my dad to do that. Sounds like a spoiled little princess to me.

I agree! A silver spoon like that should stay in the family! I hope the daughter was happy with her wedding....

We have 2 daughters with expensive tastes (if watching those wedding shows with them is any indication LOL!)--wish we had anything like that to sell, to finance even one wedding!
My favorite was the guy who had the "playbill" from the night Lincoln was assasinated. The minute I saw it I knew it was not real, as I have seen the original reproduced in multiple books about Lincoln, his death, and/or the Civil War. |
