Hi everyone. I'm new here, but I'm trying to recall the name of a sitcom that I caught a few episodes of in what I believe was the '90s. I can only recall a few occurrences within the show, but I hope I can find a solution...
From what I remember, the premise consisted of a single mother, who had two teenage daughters, and a young son. I think her elderly father also played a role in the series, as a sort of cantankerous comic relief figure. In one episode, I can remember the two girls mistakenly believing that their mother's latest boyfriend hated kids and wanted to try to get rid of them. There was some sneaking around a theater of some sort during all this. In another ep, I remember there being a running gag of the grandfather character wanting to catch a replay of an amazing moment from a wrestling match, but be constantly interrupted by some mishap, like the young son getting stuck atop the refrigerator. I guess this all sounds kind of random, but it's the best I have. Does anything recall this show or anything like it? |

I think you might be thinking of Thunder Alley. But from what I recall in Thunder Alley the two daughters were pre-teens so I might be thinking of the wrong show.

could it be Davis Rules, which lasted a few seasons in the 90's?

Thunder Alley! That was it!
Wow, thank you so much, that was driving me up the wall. I couldn't for the life of me remember what it was called. Now if only I could find some episodes... There might be some on YouTube, but I'm really looking for the entire series run. |
