It's been about 45 years since I last watched My Favorite Martian, but they had "Butterball" on the Nostalgia Channel. It was as good as I remember it.

If you enjoyed the show a brand new DVD release is on it's way from MPI home video..and a model kit of Uncle Martin's spaceship and a two volume hard cover reprint of both the US Gold Key comics and the British weekly strips..for the first time in the US.

...because it included a sly reference to another popular "fantasy" sitcom at the time: when Uncle Martin and Tim are tied up by "Butterball's" goons, and Martin finds himself unable to use his "levitating finger" to get them loose, he suddenly recalls seeing a gesture a certain witch used on TV. Sure enough, he "twitches his nose", and they're free! After defeating "Butterball", Martin tells Tim, "Remind me to send flowers to my favorite witch" (guess which one?).
