One Step Beyond vs. the syndicated The Next Step Beyond - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the late 1970's,director John Newland did an updated syndicated version of "One Step Beyond"called "The Next Step Beyond"(he also again was host).In my opinion,it was okay,but paled in comparison to "One Step Beyond".What did the rest of you think of "The Next Step Beyond"?

lower budget than the original, stories were not as interesting.
