FX Renews "The League" for Season 3
Feb 7, 2011 by Natalie Abrams FX has renewed "The League" for a 13-episode third season, the network announced Monday. "The League", starring Nick Kroll, Paul Scheer and Mark Duplass, centers on a group of fantasy football players and their everyday lives. "We're thrilled to be doing a third season with our amazing cast and the most audacious network around," executive producers Jackie and Jeff Schaffer said. "FX truly is like the parents we wish we had growing up — every time we say something naughty they reward us." "We're pleased to announce the third season pickup of 'The League', and are fired up to continue our partnership with Jackie and Jeff Schaffer and the ensemble cast," Executive Vice President of Original Programming Nick Grad said. "We love the show, and the reaction the cast received across the country during their recent comedy tour is a sign the show is really building momentum."
