Sure, they are both created by Seth Macfarlane, but, do you think The Cleveland Show is just a "black" version of 'Family Guy?'

I think what's happening is Cleveland is turning into Peter Griffin.

Cleveland was always very level headed and "normal" compared to Peter, but now Cleveland has become a real loon compared to how he used to be.
