Wow. This article is very biased. This actually came out of the Los Angeles Times? There's nothing wrong with a young girl not wanting to get married. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be single. Now, saying that all of these young girls just want to be cool and hot is a huge generalization and not true for everyone. Kids in general will change their minds a hundred times growing up. There will be those that wish to stay single, those that just want to date, those that want to settle down and get married, and those that fit into some other category. Whatever they choose is fine. Overall, giving yourself time to find yourself is a good thing. It will help you understand who you are as a person and what you truly want in life. No one is to "blame" for this change in our society. In my opinion, this is a step forward. It is good that girls know there are many options for them in life, beyond just finding a prince and living "happily ever after". LOL.
