Forensic Files cases from your area

For those of you who watch Forensic Files, I am wondering what cases presented on the show are from your area.

So far, I can confirm that it has featured one case from my home state of Massachusetts: the 1990 death of Richard Alfredo, who died after consuming Jello laced with LSD. It was presented in the FF episode titled "Dessert Served Cold."

Although the Richard Alfredo case appears to be the only Massachusetts case to be presented on FF, other New England cases were featured on the show, too.

They include (but are not limited to):

Helle Crafts, a Connecticut woman who was killed by her husband in 1986. It became known as the "Woodchipper Murder," because a woodchipper was used to dispose of her body. (Episode: "The Disappearance of Helle Crafts")

The 1991 disappearance of Pearl Bruns. She was a Maine resident who disappeared in 1991 and then found buried in her home a year later. Her husband was convicted of the crime and sentenced to 15 years in prison. (Episode: Missing Pearl)

The murder of Ellen Sherman. In the summer of 1985, her husband, Ed Sherman, murdered her and left the air conditioner turned up all the way in an (unsuccessful) attempt to make it appear that the murder happened after he left for a boat trip with friends; he was said to have gotten the idea from watching a cable movie called Blackout. He was later charged, convicted of murder, and sent to prison. He died of a heart attack in 1996. (Episode: Dinner and a Movie)

They did an episode of FF about Baton Rouge serial killer Derick Todd Lee and I am from Baton Rouge Louisiana.

Other FF cases from Louisiana would be Lafayette serial rapist Randy Comeaux raping all the women. Richard Schmidt was a physician charged with attempted murder for injecting nurse Janice Trahan with hiv and hepatitus C virus. Janice Trahan lived in Lafayette Louisiana and the case was on Forensic Files.
