Day Job: Leading the NYPD on the new cop/family drama "Blue Bloods"

Side project: Raising some tasty avocados on his ranch in California.

The actor, who also plants memorial trees on the ranch when famous pals like Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Ronald Reagan pass away, grows 63 acres of avocados, and sells the cream of his crop every year.

Bonus celeb avocado farmers: Jason Mraz, and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, who grows his avocados on a farm that shares a fence with Selleck's spread.

Possible show title: "Green Acres With Tom Selleck"

That's an interesting story. I eat them, so I'm a potential customer I guess.
I think Tom should put little moustache stickers on his avocados.

Dang, I love that picture of Tom! That is from the Cowboys and Indians magazine, which I have. Any way Tom grows avocados but doesn't like them.
