Default Do You Think Julius is So Cheap?

Even though Julius works two jobs to support Rochelle and the kids, I find him so cheap since he still tries to save money. He is one of the cheapest sitcom characters since Ralph Kramden of The Honeymooners. Your thoughts on Julius.

I don't know why Julius is so cheap. He works 2 jobs and Rochelle works so he shouldn't be cheap. My father reminds me of him. My father isn't as cheap as Julius is but he's close to it. My father used to buy my brother and i sneakers at Marshall's when we were in school. Marshall's has cheap clothes and cheap sneakers. I would never buy anything from there. I used to get laughed at when i was in high school because of the cheap sneakers my father bought me. My father had bought me a pair of Patrick Ewing sneakers from Marshall's and those Ewing shoes were popular back then but i guess they weren't popular enough because i got laughed at about them. My father used to buy Corn Flakes and Home Pride wheat bread when i was a kid. I hated Corn Flakes and wheat bread.

I think Julius is cheap because he sort of has to be. He has three kids and his wife hardly works. In last night's episode, Chris said his mom would quit her job over every little thing, which means Rochelle didn't have a steady job. Did you see the episode where Rochelle found out they could put a tv on credit? She almost went nuts. That's probably why Julius is the way he is because his wife would ruin their credit in a heart beat.

Julius being the way he is is exactly why people shouldn't have kids. If Julius didn't have any kids on the show, i bet he wouldn't be cheap. People always wanna have kids and i don't understand why. People always complain about their bills being high. Well stop having kids and your bills won't be high. Julius wouldn't have to work 2 jobs if he didn't have any kids. I feel bad for him sometimes because he's so tired when he gets home from work. He said he works 60 hours a week. I said damn. That's too many hours to be away from home. How can he have a relationship with a wife and kids when he's workin all the time? That's exactly why i'm never having kids. I wanna have all my money that i worked for to myself LOL.

I work 55 hours a week because i have 2 jobs but my jobs aren't stressful and hard so that's why i'm never tired. I don't get that much sleep though because by the time i get off my 2nd job at 8:45 pm, i don't get home until about 9:15 pm and i go to bed at 10pm. Then i get up at 4am to get ready for work because i have to be at work at 7:30am. Traffic in the morning is bad here so that's why i leave the house at 5:30 am.

You also have to take into consideration that they live in New York City. And i'm sure it's a pretty expensive place to live, even in the 1980's. When you live in an expensive area like that, you sort of have to be cheap. 2 jobs or not.
