Default "SANFORD"

who here remembers this short-lived show on NBC where Redd Foxx revived Fred Sanford? He was living in the same house, was still a junk dealer, but this time had a different partner; and he was in love with a rich widow who lived in Beverly Hills.

It was a good show and very underrated. The original was still better though. I liked Cal. He was great.

It aired on Saturdays after BJ & The Bear. It was originally supposed to *follow* Diff'rent Strokes in the fall of 1980, but swapped nights with Facts Of Life when the delayed season finally began. In fact, the season didn't begin for Sanford for another couple months, but it quickly bottomed out in its Friday slot following Harper Valley PTA.
