Default Question about season two episode

I recently finished watching my season two DVD and really loved it. I felt the picture quality was a step up from the season one set on most episodes. They are far from perfect but to me the colors look more vivid and the picture clearer than the first set.

Anyway, perhaps I missed something, put in the episode "The Valedictorian" several students talk about graduating and yet they are still in class in subsequent episodes. Maybe I just missed something, but I could have sworn some of the students were supposed to be graduating but were still on the show. Anyone notice this or am I just confusing the students? Or was thus supposed to be the season finale but got aired early?

No you did not miss anything, they also had a character from season one playing a different character in season two. I think they had a core of kids that they wanted to keep from season to season. Remember Pam got a Scholarship to Art School, but I am pretty sure she will be back in season 3. Richie eventually leaves the series for other acting endeavers, but I think he was there for at least part of season 3. Jason and Bernie stayed for all 5 Seasons. That is a long time to be in the 12th grade.
