With The Good Guys scoring adults 18-49 ratings of 1.5, 1.4 and 1.3 in its first three original airings, has it already become a liability for Fox’s Friday lineup this Fall?
Perhaps taking a page from the Glee playbook, Fox introduced The Good Guys in May. Then hoped to build interest in the show during a summer run for its eventual Friday 9pm slot. However, it seems the opposite may be happening. The Good Guys already low premiere ratings continue to trend lower, as viewers drift away. While Friday at 9pm is likely one of Fox’s least important hours of the week, might Fox take The Good Guys off the schedule before September? Or will the show remain as an albatross around the neck of Fox’s regular season ratings? Or can the show’s early ratings stumbles be reversed? http://tvbythenumbers.com/2010/06/15...iability/54203 |
