Here for the first time on DVD are all 26 episodes from the third season of the classic TV sitcom.
Architect Wilbur Post (Alan Young) and his wife Carol (Connie Hines) are once again up to their ears in trouble — and hilarity — with all of the mischief brought on by their meddlesome talking horse. This season, Ed gets amnesia, finds himself in a lion’s cage (with a lion!) and experiences his first taste of show biz. They didn't have it at my Best Buy either. HMV and WalMart didn't have it either. Unfortunately that's not unusual for Shout Factory releases at least around here. It's often 3-4 days after the official release date before they hit the shelves.

I gave up buying DVD's at Best Buy. They used to be really great with stocking classic TV on their shelves, but not anymore. I don't waste my time anymore going to the store, if a DVD I want is out I usually order from Movies Unlimited.
Mister Ed is one of those in-between shows for me. I like the show to a degree, but not really to a point where I must have the DVD's. It's a cute show, but IMO the talking horse gimmick wears thin after awhile. |
