CBS's 'Medium' is Killing Off Patricia Arquette

Just heard that CBS's Medium is killing off it's lead character, Allison Dubois (Patricia Arquette) in May's season finale. The show is currently casting several hospital doctors, nurses and orderlies who will try desperately to save the medium's life – to no avail. The show's even looking for a guy to play a creepy morgue attendant to examine Allison's lifeless body.

So is this cold hard evidence that the long-running show is calling it quits after this season? Not so fast. This is a show that always involves nightmares, and the episode's title leads me to believe this is just one extra long doozy. The installment's called “It's A Wonderful Death” – a take off on the perennial holiday classic, “It's A Wonderful Life,” in which Jimmy Stewart is shown what his life would be like were he never to have been born.

The episode also features the wedding of Scanlon (David Cubitt) and Lynn DiVovi (Tina DiJoseph), but is this reality of fantasy? Will Allison be alive to attend?

The biggest question for you is this. After five seasons of playing with dead things, do you really want to see Allison live to see a sixth, or are you ready to let this lady rest in peace?

I have heard that they may cancel it due to its cost, really dumb considering what they're paying Charlie Sheen and his show has been on way longer than Medium. Start the letter writing campaign.
