A recent New York dinner date turned sour for comedian Kenan Thompson when he was caught up in an altercation with a drunken diner.

The Snakes on a Plane star was eating at Lower East Side restaurant Avenue A Sushi with "a very attractive woman," when an intoxicated man rudely attempted to get his attention.

A source tells the New York Daily News, "Kenan just brushed him off, but then the guy patted the top of Kenan's head like you would a little kid. At that point, Kenan got in the guy's face."

However, the star didn't allow the incident to ruin his evening. The source adds, "The waiters came over and threw the bum out immediately."
