Thanks, ladies.

I had my tooth pulled today. It was either having the tooth pulled or a root canal, and since the tooth was in back, I just decided to have it pulled. Not a very nice experience to say the least. I hope to be feeling better in a couple of days and have more of my story posted. I promise not to go as long between posts like I was doing. I had really wanted to have my next post written before the end of this week, but right now I am not feeling up to that. I also need to catch up on everyone else's stories as well.

Well I am glad you had your tooth taken care of, but sorry it had to be pulled. I know that has to hurt, but hopefully you'll be feeling better soon!

Great posts. I'm sorry about your tooth. I'll be praying for you, tho. Can't wait to see how Mrs. G's first session with the grieving ones goes.

(Writer's note: After, working on this fanfic for over a year, I am about to post the final part of the story. I would like to thank everyone for sticking with my story over the last year. For those of you wondering what is going to happen with Mrs. Garrett and the church support group, that will actually take place in a new fanfic that I'm thinking about right now.)

JO: Are there any more question that you would like to ask me, Father?

FATHER BISHOP: Just one, really. Do you feel that you are a good Christian?

JO: That's a difficult one. Well, I like to think that I'm a good Christian, but I also have to be honest with myself and admit that I need be a better one at times. Sometimes I'm impatient with other people and as the Rush song goes, I'm "quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand".

Take Blair, for example. I love that girl. She's the closest firiend that I have ever had. She's got a good heart. It took a while for us to really bond, because we came from such different worlds, but the more we really got to know each other, I mean to really know each other, the stuff that's below the surface and in our hearts, we really discovered that we aren't as different as we once thought we were.

This being said, Blair can be really self-centered, shallow, vain and really annoying. And sometimes she really gets on my nerves. And when she does, I can sometimes say some really mean spirited things to her. Things that a good Christian would not say.

FATHER BISHOP: Jo, God doesn't expect us to be perfect. He knows that we are going to make mistakes. What is important though, what is the center of Christianity and the teachings of Jesus, is to love. It can all be summed up in that one simple word :"Love". You and Blair may not always see eye to eye, maybe sometimes you might say something to her that you shouldn't, but if in the end, you really do love her, and you give her that love, than you are living as Jesus Christ and God wants you to live.

JO (tear rolling down her eye): I do love her.

THE END

(Wrtier's note II: The lyrics from Rush's 1981 song "Witch Hunt" were written by Neil Peart.)

Thanks, Meghan. I had actually written another scene to take place after this last one where Jo goes up to the bedroom with the other girls, but I decided that I wanted to end the story with Jo saying "I do love her" in regards to Blair. I felt after that, anything else would be anticlimatic.

My next story will be more of a comedy. Its going to be called "Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places" and will deal with the girls all going through bad dating experiences at the same time. It is going to be really lighthearted. However, I am going to have the subplot be about Mrs. Garrett wroking at the church. That part of the story will be more serious.

Great story. I can't for the next one. BTW, isn't 'Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places' what you were going to title your bio? I saw the thread in Chit-Chat.
Anyways, loved it.

I loved this fic Mike. Great Job! And I can't wait to read the next one. You are such a good writer. I loved how you ended this one too. Jo admitting that as different as she and Blair are and as much as they get on each other's nerves, that she still loves Blair was so true to character and a great ending for your story!!!

Damn, Mike, I think you and I have the same life!!!! I think I've spent a large portion of my life doing that. Anyway, you did an excellent job. I see where you just started your new fanfic so I'll go over and check it out. Nice job.
