Family Ties

Alternate Season 5 (This is an alternative to the Seaon 5 that aired). This one has no Nick.

Episode 1: Will She Or Won't She? Part One
Will Ellen's thoughts of missing Alex lead her back to Ohio? Mallory and Skippy are paired together for a school project.

Episode 2: Will She Or Won't She? Part Two
Ellen makes a hard decision. Alex just hopes that she won't regret it. Mallory has to spend a lot of time with Skippy because of the project that will last for the semester.

Episode 3: What's A Mother To Do?
Elyse is offered a job and struggles with whether or not to put 18-month-old Andrew in daycare. After being told she can't go to the movies with Chrissy on a school night Jennifer sneaks out anyway.

Episode 4: He's Not Just Skippy
Mallory gets upset with Skippy because he's always around. When Skippy stops coming over at all Mallory finds that she misses him. Alex finds an old letter he wrote to President Nixon and insists that everyone in the house read it. When they refuse he thinks about sending it to President Reagan.

Episode 5: Mr. Mom
Steven's station goes on strike. Steven has so much time on his hands that he drives the family bananas. Alex tries to teach baby Andy math.

Episode 6: Ellen The Mentor
Jennifer decides she wants to dance like Ellen. She asks Steven and Elyse to let her take a dance class. Mallory and Alex clash over what books Andy should hear.

Episode 7: The Project
Mallory and Skippy have to create a budget. They have to pretend they are a married couple. Skippy is so happy. He keeps going around telling people that he and Mallory are married. Mallory reminds him that they're not 'really' married.

Episode 8: Where's The Baby?
Mallory and Skippy have to take care of a pretend baby. Things go awry when the 'baby' temporarily goes missing.

Episode 9: Alex Runne Up
Alex loses an award to Jared. Alex demands a do-over. Jennifer hogs the phone when she hears a boy likes her.

Episode 10: Elyse's Ring
Elyse's ring comes off while giving Andrew a bath. She turns the house upside down looking for it. Steven doesn't like a new co-worker of his.

Episode 11: The Switch
After listening to Alex for the hundredth time exclaim how men are superior to women, Ellen insists that Alex spend a day in the lift of a woman.

Nick actually made his first appearance in season 4.
