converting this to DVD-R as we speak, er, type

I also have the re-edited Fox Family version, but won't be converting it. I guess when Fox reaired it, some of the footage of other shows like Cosby and Roseanne weren't cleared, so the special had to be reedited. This also has the original ads from ABC, so you get to see BKTeeVee with Dan Cortese and promos for "Family Matters", "Step by Step" and "Getting By".

I was going to say-"Getting By Promos on ABC? But i just remembered the how was moved to season 1 after the 1992-1993 TV season and on CBS during 1993-94.

that be NBC.....CBS picked up Family Matters, Hogan Family and Step by Step, but NBC lucked out with Getting By.

Right, right because aired before Saved by the Bell the College Years on Tuesday Nights. I should know since I have those Original Airings on DVD-lol

I taped it when it was first on and I still have the tape!! But I did pause when the commercials came on.
