‘Goode Family’ Makes Jump to Comedy Central Jan. 6 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Comedy Central said the animated series "The Goode Family," which it picked up after a summer ABC run, will debut on the cable network Jan. 6, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

The 13 episodes will air on Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. If the show is a success, original episodes could also be produced.

...because, for one thing, they chose to "burn" the series off in the summer, when they knew most people weren't going to tune in, and, most important, they don't own it. The broadcast networks are owned by conglomerates who'd rather see the majority of what's scheduled in prime-time co-produced and/or owned by them. And Disney/ABC is no exception. NONE of the animated series they've scheduled in prime-time during the past decade have lasted longer than 13 weeks...it's easy for other networks to knock FOX's Sunday night "Animation Domination" schedule, but when they try to replicate part of its success to appeal to the same audience they desparately need to keep their advertisers in the fold...I'd like to SEE Comedy Central order new episodes because that's where "THE GOODE FAMILY" ultimately fits in, and earns the audience it deserves!

I think Comedy Central Is Going To Air The Goode Family, and then after they air that and it does good, they would make up their minds of Sit Down Shut Up because if they goode family dosn't do goode, they won't give sit down shut up a chance. It would Be Nice To see More Episodes
