The longest running soap opera in American history is wrapping up storylines as they prepare to pack up the sets, costumes and props after seventy-two memorable years on CBS. GUIDING LIGHT may air its final episode in mid September, but the show won’t go dark completely…Adoring fans in Atlanta will have the incredible opportunity to get to know ten of the best-loved actors from GUIDING LIGHT in a day and evening extravaganza as they say “so long” to Springfield.

I have never watched Guiding Light (except for a couple of episodes), but this sounds very similar to a fan club party I went to for One Life to Live In NYC. I went in both 2004 and 2005 and I met a bunch of the cast members. It was a lot of fun.
Are you going to go to either of these? It sounds cool! Let us know if you do. I'd love to hear about it!

I wish i was going to either, or BOTH!! lol i'm due w/my second son in a few weeks, so not going. BUT am praying they add more locations/dates, etc. so i can make it to one!! i would love to meet & see the cast together.
