Best:

Lindsay Monroe - CSI:NY
Kat Miller - Cold Case
David Rossi - Criminal Minds
Emily Prentiss - Criminal Minds

Worst:

That one chick who was on Cold Case for about 4 weeks during season 3. She was awful.

More to add to my list:

BEST:
Rebecca Howe; Cheers - She molded better w/ the cast than Diane ever did, IMO.

Jack Denton; Nurses - Although Nurses became silly when he came, I did enjoy his character though.

WORST:

Scrappy Doo; Scooby Doo - If you have a character than can scare and make little kids cry, you know they're horrible! And Scrappy Doo is just that!

Casey McAfee; Nurses - She was very vain, and I just flat out couldn't stand her at all!

Dil Pickles; Rugrats - Why they needed to add another kid on there? He was just...BLAH!

Olive Oyl; Popeye - The less said about her voice, the better! She's just annoying and I never once understood why Popeye and Brutus were even fighting over her all those years.

Pebbles and Bamm-Bam (when they got much older) - I liked them when they were babies, but once they grew up, UGH! They became just another group of snotty teenagers you just wanna punch in the face.

Angel (Rockford Files) - he did a good job providing comic relief to the show, despite his tendency to get Rockford in hot water at times.

Sgt. Jablonski (Robert Prosky; Hill Street Blues) - he did an excellent job filling in for Sgt. Esterhaus (Michael Conrad) and didn't try to "BE" Esterhaus.

Cheryl Ladd's character; Charlie's Angels - I preferred her over the over-rated Farrah Fawcett, b/c she melded well with the team.

WORST:
Sam (Diff'rent Strokes) - he was very annoying to say the least.

Maggie (Diff'rent Strokes) - should be called "Naggy," b/c sometimes she comes as naggy and the 2nd actor that played her I couldn't stand at all.

Olivia (Cosby Show, The) - started off good but got very annoying soon after.

Josh Myers or whatever his name was character in the 8th season of That '70s Show - mainly b/c of the way he made out w/ Donna...in Eric's bedroom of all places!

Every new cast member that debuted in the 12th season of Hawaii Five-O - The less said, the better.

Beau DeLaBarre - he tried too much to act like he was a sweathog. To quote Vinnie (John Travolta): "Who is this clown?"

Chachi (Happy Days) - it's bad enough I couldn't stomach him on HD, but to give him his own shows?! WtF?!
I forgot about Olivia. She was really annoying.

I agree I couldn't stand her. The actress who played her was Sarah Brown whose acting experience is mostly on soaps but I never thought she was a great soap actress.

Top 5 Best

1. Alexis Morel Carrington (Joan Collins), who joined "Dynasty'' in season 2 and sent the ratings flying into a new stratosphere.
2. Abby Fairgate Cunningham (Donna Mills) who did the same for ''Knots Landing'' as 'Alexis' did for ''Dynasty''.
3. The whole evolving cast of "Knots Landing" - there was not one 'bad character' (or bad actor/actress) in the cast additions over the fourteen year run.
4. Mr. Furley (Don Knotts) on "Three's Company". He was actually better than 'The Ropers'.
5. 'Etienne' (1992-93) and 'Vanessa' (1990-92) on "Designing Women". Each character was a recurring character on the show for a number of epsiodes (thanks to Anthony), and each should have been a permanent addition instead of the others (see #2 of 'Worst').

Top 5 Worst

1. 'Cindy Snow' (Jenilee Harrison) on "Three's Company". Unfunny character by an untalented actress.
2. 'Carlene', 'Allison', and 'BJ' on the remaining two years of "Designing Women". The show was 'circling the drain' with the addition of 'Allison' and finally went down with 'BJ'.
3. 'Ginny Roblicki' and 'Alex' on "One Day At A Time"...why bother?
4. 'Belle' on "Alice". A character with no place to go.
5. 'Esmerelda' on "Bewitched". She was no 'Aunt Clara'.

Best: Jefferson D'Arcy-Married...With Children, Becky Donaldson Katsopolous-Full House. Worst: Viki Amory-Head Of The Class. Her New Age thinking annoyed me.

I just finished the first season (only six episodes) of 3C, and Larry is introduced in the 4th episode, so he was in the first season, but it wasn't suggested that he lived in the apartment complex.

Coy and Vance - Dukes of Hazzard - I keep forgetting about how untalented and ugly these two dim-wits were!

I thought Rick Payne was a great character added to Ghost Whisperer after season 1.
