There is also a version going around with the exact same content as version #1 BUT Human Target Tuesdays at 9 instead of Fringe. Fringe would be Fridays at 8 to try and help Dollhouse.

I personally think we will see version #1, or something very similar to it. Could Fringe go to Fridays? I am not sure, but if it does 60-70% of its current numbers there, it would be a good move.

This schedule is going to be a disaster if true. Having Dance in fall is a complete disaster in its own. Does FOX not have faith in Glee? It can still air with Kitchen Nightmares, or Fringe, or the comedies, and still do well. It all just seems so pointless to me.

Kitchen Nightmares should be Fridays, it's that simple. The show isn't a ratings powerhouse, and it does good in the demo, and would be perfect for Fridays. Why waste Human Target on Fridays? And what I don't get, why waste Brothers Sundays at 7:30???

Nothing can help Dollhouse. If Fringe goes to Friday, it will die. It will never get those viewers back that they have and it will never grow. Look what happened to Prison Break when it moved to Friday and it had a built in fan base. If Human Target premieres there, it is D.O.A. They are wasting two good timeslots on a summer reality show. We already have DWTS on in the fall. Does Fox really think they can compete with that?

And that goes back to the question why not stick the gameshows back on Fridays? I just don't get it. Kitchen Nightmares would be another good option. They're cheap programming, and their ratings, for Friday, would be considered good. Pavan, you said if Fringe could retain 60% of its audience on Fridays, that would be good. Not sure if you realize, but 60% of Fringe's audience is less than 6 million viewers. For the costs, that would be terrible.

Same goes for Human Target. it goes on Fridays, it dies. And then there's Dollhouse, a pointless pickup in all directions. And SYTYCD - it won't be able to compete. It doesn't make sense.

When is FOX going to figure out they will never have success with sci-fi dramas on Friday? If Fringe goes there it will be dead by midseason(the highest-rated new show in Adults 18-49). Stupid idea! Fringe is also way too expensive for Fridays, have you seen the show? LOL, they made a fake but real looking World Trade Center for the finale. They should have just canceled Dollhouse and put 5th Grader and Kitchen Nightmares there and been done with it. I don't get it.

Fox doesn't want reality on Fridays. They are going scripted and are not giving up on the night, which I like but Dollhouse (and Fringe or Human Target) is not the answer, I agree. Honestly, 5th Grader did terrible in the demo on Friday. Its viewership was OK, but the demo was around 1.1-1.3, which Fox did even with Prison Break and Sarah Connor (which is officially dead now).

Didn't get any other leaked schedules as of yet, so what we saw with the two earlier scenarios is what we'll get it seems.

The Hell's Kitchen thing is interesting. It launches July 21, and it will last 14 straight weeks (since the premiere is two-hours). That will have it through Oct. 13. So whatever comes after Hell's Kitchen on Tuesdays at 8pm won't launch at the earliest until Oct. 20.
And when is the 2009 World Series? Game 1 airs Wednesday, Oct. 28 and if necessary game 7 is Thursday, November 5, 2009. The only off days are Friday, Oct. 30 and Tuesday, Nov. 3, bearing any weather cancelations. November 2009 sweep starts Oct. 29, so all the World Series games will be in Nov. sweep this year except game one. So it just seems to me that SYTYCD will not be Tuesdays, and looks more of a Wed-Thurs thing. Unless they go Tuesdays at 9.

Just something to ponder about Fox before we get the schedule.

Last year Fox announced their schedule at 11am, which is CBS style late. Hopefully that is not the case later today. Last year it was a Thursday though, but now Fox goes first on a Monday so I'm hoping it is bright and early tomorrow. I'll be on the look out bright and early anyway...no sleep week!

Hmmmm, I totally forgot about the World Series and how it screws everything up.

Hell's Kitchen running into October is also interesting.

Speaking of days for each upfront, I'm glad it's a little different this year. Every year as long as I can remember NBC went on Monday(except last year when they did a dumb thing and announced the schedule in April) and FOX on Thursday. Maybe ABC or CBS can change dates next year. How is it set anyway?

Arghhh, Fox just told me 11am ET again for the release this year. At least ABC will be bright and early tomorrow.
