Big stars such as Kelsey Grammer have taken pay cuts to keep working. And although Charlie Sheen (Two and a Half Men) and Laurence Fishburne (CSI) pull more than $350,000 an episode, second-tier players who routinely got $125,000 an episode not that long ago now are settling for about $80,000.

Well after all his years on Cheers and Frasier it's not like Kelsey is exactly hurting for money!

I have to agree. And he's always getting money from being producer to all these different shows, and I'm sure he's still getting paid from Cheers and Frasier. Paycuts are going to be necessary nowadays from big stars in freshman series.

I agree. Besides, Kelsey strikes me as the kind of guy who invests his money wisely.
