Help with sitcom ID? 80s/90s?

Can't remember the name of an 80s or early 90s family-type sitcom.

One of the supporting characters was a burly, leather-clad biker dude who was a harvard graduate. I think there was also a blond boy maybe 8 or nine years old, and this other tall dark haired thin guy who acted stupid and always called the kid "heey, little duude..." I could be mixing some of this up, but I have searched everywhere with no luck, and it shouldn't be so obscure.

Does this ring any bells? It is not Small Wonder, AFAIK but maybe around that time??

could it be Full House? Uncle Jesse on that show was a biker dude on the show. Joey was blonde and sort of dumb on that show...

Brotherly Love starred the three Lawerence Brothers; Joey, Matthew and Andy and was about Three brothers who are reunited when their father dies. Joey played the oldest brother Joe Roman a motorcycle lover who helps run the family garage after the fathers death. He was usually in tight jeans and a leather coat. He would call the younger kids "dude" or "kiddo"...

That 'burly guy' was Mike McShane from the original BBC version of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" A terrific improv and comedy guy, from the States originally, but spent a little time in the UK honing his craft. He's very cool.
