Not anytime soon. There have been mini-reunions on and off on TV talk shows but that's about the extent of it.

I've always longed for some sort of "Soap" wrap-up. I mean, it wouldn't be the same without Burt and Mary, but I suppose they could write their passings into the story. A movie of some sort could focus on the Campbell and Tate kids (though Billy Crystal may not be interested).

No I don't see it happening at all. Two of the principals are deceased along with another cast member.

I would love to find out what ended up happeneing at the end, but I would hate to see them try and do some sort of recast. Besides, if they did end up sticking to the original cast, Burt was my favorite character and it just wouldn't be the same with out him.

not that i think they ever actually would have a reunion, but they certainly could if they really wanted to - enough years have passed that the few deaths that have occured could be explained in the storyline (i'm sure Burt ended up dying in a hanglider accident while trying to escape from the mafia chasing him in a stolen hot-air balloon)

it would really be nice to have them tie up the loose ends and they could wrap it around a good central plotline that revisits all the main characters

Nope it would have been nice to have had one while Burt and Mary were alive.

The deaths could be written into a scripted reunion-type movie. Not sure if Katherine Helmond is still acting- she had the recurring role on "Everybody Loves Raymond" in recent years.

I'm not counting on it- what they could do is gather most of the children and do a special/show with them as the lead characters. (of course, Billy Crystal probably wouldn't do it, but I'd love to know how Jodie's life turned out)
